The NIDHIR2-AO double swift nest box features two incubation chambers in a single module, ideal for starting a colony. It can be fixed directly to masonry or integrated into the insulation during external thermal insulation (ETICS).
Minimum height of 6 to 7 m, under an overhanging roof, with a clear flight hole facing downwards. Nest boxes can be hung directly next to each other.
Once a pair of swifts adopts a site, they reuse it for many years. Installing several cavities in the same place encourages the long-term establishment of a colony.

How to choose the right nesting box?
Each product is sized for a specific species (diameter of the entrance hole, chamber volume). Refer to the description and the technical sheet downloadable on each product page.
How are birdhouses installed?
AQUAPANEL® recessed nest boxes are integrated into the thickness of the insulation during external thermal insulation, or are fixed directly onto the masonry with the supplied accessories. Surface-mounted nests can be installed on all types of facades.
What are the delivery times?
Our products are made in France, to order: allow approximately 4 weeks from receipt of the order, then delivery by carrier within 48 hours. Free delivery from €200 incl. VAT for individuals; for professionals, transport costs according to the total weight of the order.
Should birdhouses be maintained?
Generally, no: swifts and bats do not require any cleaning. The NIDELLE cornice swallows' nests have removable supports for easy inspection, outside of the nesting period.
How long does it take for nesting boxes to be occupied?
Colonization can take one to several seasons depending on the species and the proximity of existing colonies. Installing several nest boxes side by side encourages settlement.
