The DESIGN'TOUCH2 pediment (large format) is the large version of the range: a generous EPS facade molding, with a smooth resin and quartz finish, designed to house a NIDHIR1-AO swift nest box. A strong architectural statement in favor of biodiversity.
Minimum height of 4 m between the ground (or a building projection) and the flight hole, preferably oriented North or East. First, fix the NIDHIR1-AO nest box, then fully glue the pediment over it; finish with two coats of primer (~200 g/m²) in the finish color and a PU mastic joint around the perimeter. Leave the access route clear (no trees or awnings in front of the facade).
Swifts like to nest in colonies: install several nest boxes side by side, ideally maintaining a distance of ≥ 40 cm between them.

How to choose the right nesting box?
Each product is sized for a specific species (diameter of the entrance hole, chamber volume). Refer to the description and the technical sheet downloadable on each product page.
How are birdhouses installed?
AQUAPANEL® recessed nest boxes are integrated into the thickness of the insulation during external thermal insulation, or are fixed directly onto the masonry with the supplied accessories. Surface-mounted nests can be installed on all types of facades.
What are the delivery times?
Our products are made in France, to order: allow approximately 4 weeks from receipt of the order, then delivery by carrier within 48 hours. Free delivery from €200 incl. VAT for individuals; for professionals, transport costs according to the total weight of the order.
Should birdhouses be maintained?
Generally, no: swifts and bats do not require any cleaning. The NIDELLE cornice swallows' nests have removable supports for easy inspection, outside of the nesting period.
How long does it take for nesting boxes to be occupied?
Colonization can take one to several seasons depending on the species and the proximity of existing colonies. Installing several nest boxes side by side encourages settlement.
